Extra mobile phone data: During lockdown the government are providing extra mobile phone data for famlies with no broadband access. To be added to the application for this, please text school with the name of person on the mobile phone bill, the mobile number, the network name (Virgin Mobile, 3, SMARTY, EE, Sky Mobile, Tesco Mobile, Vodafone, O2) and if you are pay monthly or Pay as you go (PAYG). Great Bridge Primary School is part of Sandwell's Operation Encompass. This is the early reporting to school when a child has been exposed to domestic violence or domestic abuse.

School is open for children of critical workers and vulnerable children.
The Nursery classes are OPEN for children of keyworker / critical worker parents and vulnerable children : Please contact school if you require a place.
Free School Meals: We have emailed vouchers to families. These first vouchers will cover families for the first 2 weeks of lockdown with the national voucher starting from 18th January. If you feel you should have received a voucher, please contact school immediately.
For all children not attending school, home learning packs have been provided.
The packs are a comprehensive range of learning with instructions and many lessons that relate to the online learning videos that we have on our YouTube channel. Additional learning content can be found online at the Oak National Academy - available to all children across the country. The BBC have also extended Bitesize to include a wide range of online learning.
Check in with a teacher to let them know how your child is getting on, if they are stuck and need help etc. Please reply to the text message sent out to state how you want contact: text, phone call, email or zoom meeting.
